Kasper Hermann (b. 1989, Denmark) is a Copenhagen-based artist working at the intersection of painting and sculpture. Since his debut, he has established himself as a distinctive voice in contemporary Danish art, with a growing exhibition record spanning gallery spaces, museum contexts, and major art fairs.
Working primarily with epoxy resin, Hermann builds his works layer by layer - the glossy, opalescent surfaces catching light in ways that blur the boundary between painting and object. His practice has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across Denmark, at venues including Albert Contemporary, HEART Museum, and the National Museum of Denmark, as well as at art fairs such as Art Herning and Enter Art Fair. In recent years his work has also featured in the programming at The Darling, an art and design guesthouse bringing contemporary art into everyday spaces.
His process is one of accumulation and negotiation. Each pour is shaped by what came before it - intention meeting the unpredictability of the liquid material, the resulting works hovering somewhere between control and chance.
Hermann is represented by Albert Contemporary, Odense.
